Warranty Information:
Please read for your protection - All information and suggestions in this catalog and in product handouts are only the opinions of Lee S. McDonald, Inc. Since artists have their own personal techniques, and there are numerous other factors involved, testing of our products should be undertaken by the buyer to determine whether the product meets their intended needs. We cannot guarantee the products will perform to individualsÕ satisfaction. The user is responsible for final determination of suitability. Lee S. McDonald, Inc. makes no warranty of any kind, express or implied, other than that the material conforms to its applicable current standard specifications. The responsibility of Lee S. McDonald, Inc. for claims arising out of breach of warranty, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, is limited to the purchase price of the material or product. We cannot be liable for the occurrence of incidental or consequential damages.
Equipment Warranty: We warrant items we build to be free from defects in workmanship and material for a period of 120 days from the date of purchase; during this period, such defects will be repaired, or the defective equipment will be replaced at our option, without charge. This warranty does not cover damage through accident, misuse, or normal wear and tear. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF FITNESS AND MERCHANTABILITY, ARE HEREBY LIMITED IN DURATION TO A PERIOD ENDING 120 DAYS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE. The Hydra Hollander and Whiz Mixers have an extended length of warranty of 1 year from date of purchase.The responsibility of Lee S. McDonald, Inc. for claims arising out of breach of warranty, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, is limited to the purchase price of the equipment. We cannot be liable for the occurrence of incidental or consequential damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Repair or replacement will be made at our option if the equipment is sent freight prepaid to; Lee S. McDonald, Inc., 523 Medford St., Charlestown, MA 02129. Return transportation in the United States and Canada will be paid by us.
Institutional Accounts:
An approved purchase order must accompany all orders. Phone orders are accepted; however, the formal requisition must follow. Open account terms are 2%/10 days, Net 30. Finance charge of 1 1/2 % per month is applicable on overdue accounts. Delinquent accounts will have to PREPAY future orders.
Pricing:
Prices are subject to change without notice. The prevailing price will be charged at the time of shipping, unless a written quotation is given.
Claims & Adjustments:
Please inspect your shipment immediately for damages or shortages; notify us within 30 days for adjustment. Defective or missing goods will be replaced or substituted. We will need to know the order number and date of order or shipment. Damage in transit is the responsibility of the carrier; KEEP THE PACKING MATERIAL, and notify us. Claims for damage against UPS or trucking companies must originate from receiver. We will work with you to clear up the situation and to get replacement goods as quickly as possible.
Returns:
Please call or write to obtain authorization before returning items. Returns are by permission only. Include a copy of your packing list or invoice and note the authorization in the shipment so that we can properly adjust your account. All goods returned must be in saleable condition. Items should be sent PREPAID, in the original packaging, except when due to our error. We reserve the right to charge a 15% re-stocking fee on returns not due to our error. No returns on cut-to-size goods or on overseas shipments, except for defective goods.
Overseas, Canadian & Mexican:
All orders shipped outside the US must be prepaid, including shipping charges, by Credit Card or International Money Order in U.S. funds. EFTS (Electronic transfers)incur a $20.00 charge. Packages to Canada in most areas can be sent via UPS; or via Post Office. To all areas we can quote shipping & insurance costs, via Air, Land, or Sea Mail. It is the responsibility of the consignee to accept and receive the goods through Customs upon arrival. Check with your broker or Customs official regarding procedures and duties.
