AMP METER

Provides an easy method of producing the same beating effects from load to load. The amp meter measures the power draw of the motor. By adjusting the beater to the same power setting & running it for the same length of time your loads will be consistent, batch to batch, even if you make them months apart. An easy & effective method compared to counting crank revolutions or listening to the sound level of the beater.

LIFTING WINCH

One of the nice features of our Hydra Hollanders is the ability to lift the arm and roll and expose the bedplate for cleaning. However, the roll & arm weighs about 125 lbs which may be too heavy for many people to lift. Lee has designed a winch assembly to raise the arm and roll for cleaning. It does not interfere with the beating process. If the winch is not ordered at the same time as the beater, some assembly will be required. (4 to 8 holes must be drilled into the tub, and some parts need to be bolted together.) Shipping weight: 40 lbs ( 18 kgs).

SCREEN SANDWICH FOR DRYER

Enough bulk material to make ten 36" x 48" "Screen Sandwiches". A Screen Sandwich consists of a core of one layer of blue tube sandwiched between aluminumscreen mesh which together create an air space for moisture removal. Position a polypropylene (wicks water away) felt between the screens and the paper. Place wet sheets of paper on the felt, add another felt, Screen Sandwich, felt, another sheet of paper, and so on, to create your stack. Versatile & long lasting, the Screen Sandwich will keep most paper from cockling when proper pressure is applied. 80 linear feet aluminum screen, 20 linear yards of dryer felt, and nearly 14 linear feet of Blue Tube. The system features a 3/4 hp piston driven vacuum pump connected to an high density polyethylene collection chamber.
